George Lucas invented time travel, went to the future, saw all of what happened, then went farther into the future wrote about it all (star wars) then bootlegged it all, and brought it back to the very very past...

I also enjoy sci-fi, as long as it understands it is sci fi--and doesn't try to portray itself as something else.  and when folks start jumping from 3 story buildings that just blew up etc ..etc.. etc.. I lose interest

I am all for entertaining movies, but if a film is based upon historical events or a book I have read, I feel that it is the filmmakers duty maintain authenticity, or adhere to the main themes and events of the original text. But then again, that's just my opinion. And maybe Hee's.

Sure Star Wars is historically accurate, opening line is "A Long Time ago in a Galaxy Far Far Away".  So if you want to argue with George Lucas and get your legs broke by his henchmen  be  my guest, Im just going to assume that its true.  Though if I lived back then I would have killed that Jar Jar character the first time I heard him say "Misa going to....."  And would have therfore prevented the entire empire in the first place.
