Looks like the time has come for attacks on MAC OS's
The Leap-A, or Oompa Loompa, virus is a potentially malicious program that is disguised as a simple image file. Experts are worried that its discovery will prompt hackers to mount the first serious campaign againt Apple users.
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,9075-2045460,00.html

It should be known also that "Hackers" are GOOD and it is the "Crackers"That do all the bad stuff!!
Here is an explanation
http://www.beemerworld.com/tips/hacker.htm

Hmmmmmm I wonder if Earl The Oompa Loompa had anything to do with it? Grin

Well, like the similar linux/unix  joke about viruses - the virus has to be activated by the user, they have to extract it then open it...

Im not too worried just yet.  Just the same, its interesting to see where this will go.

Mac Users:  1 "virus"  PC Users:  348753759375938759345 viruses Wink Tongue

I happen to be in good touch with several Oompa Loompa's, and I assure you..

They will be very offended that you even implied that they had anything to do with this here MAC virus.

Hmph!

Earl and Orvile (the quirky one you might now aboot) rarely use their tinkering hacking abilities for evil and only the greater good of all Oompa Loompa's everywhere. Grin

I was sure that Earl or Orvile had nothing to do with it and I am glad you verified that for us -gHoTi- I was afraid we had a renegade Oompa Loompa on the loose Wink you might have them keep there eyes and ears open for a bad egg out there because it sounds like someone is out to blackmail the Oompa Loompa's Wink

I'm with you there, BM.

Earl and Orville are nice and fun Oompa Loompas.

However, I would be on the look-out for an oompa loompa named Percy.  I hear he has had a few run ins with said macintoshes and did not enjoy them much..

I don't know him well though, so I only speak from what I've heard Wink

Yeah, I don't think Earl, or Orvile would have anything to do with this kinda stuff.  They are pretty good guys.  Wink Tongue
