Evidence has been found that William Tell and his family were avid bowlers. Unfortunately, all the Swiss league records were destroyed in a fire, ...and so we'll never know For whom the Tells bowled.

Not a joke per se, but I thought it amusing.  Especially considering what win8 looks like from afar.

    My boss phoned me today, he said, "Is everything okay at the office?"

    I said, "Yes, it's all under control. It's been a very busy day, I haven't stopped."

    "Can you do me a favour?" he asked.

    I said, "Of course, what is it?"

    "Speed it up a little, I'm in the foursome behind you."

I grew up in Montana.... In the town of Kalispell.  Back in the day, the city festival was "Canadian Days".  All the merchants would accept silly $ as if it was real US$.  Despite all of that, no one from Montana uses superfluous U's, says "eh", "aboot", or thinks Z is Zed.  So Montana <> Canada.

That would be about 3rd grade geography, not college/university.   But that may say something about why our education system is failing.
