Private Server??

Does anyone know why the server is set up in private scrim mod?? When I called up the servers it was set to PEAKS and said Private.

Then, I could not download "Peaks" at all.  Bummer

Peaks is on the UO mappack.  You may have to download the mappack again.

the private server is.


you should still be able to connect with out going to port 28963 which is the private server.

I guess what I am trying to say is that if our server is not showing up on the list of servers, how can anyone join our game?? THe only one that shows up is the private server and no one can join it anyway.

Why are we not showing up on the list of servers??


OR am  I doing something wrong??

I was able to get our main server to show up in the in game browser.  Its possible that you have filtered the list such that we do not currently show up.  I was trying to add us to my server favorites a while back and couldnt' get us in the list but this was because I filtering out servers with no people on them.  For instance, if your list was only showing tdm, today we wouldn't show up either.  Try taking off the filters and that should solve it.

I ran the search with the filtering system enabled to see the MAX number of servers I think. I also had Kibs do a seach last night and he could not find it on his machine either.

I wonder if we should ask a few others. I wonder if this is part of our traffic problem.

PS I just did another search this AM 8:00 AM. there were 2582 servers pinged and we were NOT one of them that showed up. Again our private server was on the list, but not our reg server.

joab and jt, i could not find our server either. trying to make sure that iam not taking up a public spot.

OK It is now 9:00 AM and our server showed up on the list now.

I did not change any settings, it just showed up this time.

When the server resets it stays down for an hour.  My guess is that you refreshed you list during or shortly thereafter that designated hour.

Give it a try during the day or at night.

THat may be the deal  Bone.  I just know that last night it would not show up on my or Bregan's puter. I have noticed before that our server would not be on the list so I check from time to time. Next time I will give you a call.

i too have been un able to find the server. once i get updated again i will try and hopefully the server will be there. and hopefully can join because of the ping setting being changed. thanks again for that i hope it works.
