Hi all. I'm not very sharp at getting around my computer cause my dad usually does it and i have with the regular CoD. I had just turned on the "Downloads" option for multiplayer and went to a server and it downloaded a stupid box that replaces my crosshairs. I have no idea how to remove it. I deleted all extra files in my CoD main folder, but it is still there! Please help me peoples. I need your help! Thank You!!! Huh

Since you are playing UO it may also be in your /UO folder.

I always play with downloads off, and when I do turn them on - I write down the name of the stuff thats downloading so I can find it later and kill it if need be.

If you dont' know the filename, another last ditch effort would be to search your HD for .pk3.  If you dont' have a lot of games with them - it may turn up the file doing this to you.

HD = hard drive.

You can add a quote at the bottom of your posts by choosing "Forum Profile Information" in your profile.

i guess the simplest solution would be to re-install your game...a fresh install will remove any mods you might have picked up...

a suggestion in the future: only play at =JHF= then you don't have to worry 'bout pickin' up anything unsavory Wink Grin

also in explorer check the date modified/created column for the time when you think it was added.. i have done it a few times after playing on other servers and i can find what was downloaded and then i can get rid of it.  of course, you have to know what folder to look in.
