"New" Internet Scam

Just want everyone to keep their eyes open for this scam that almost happened to me.   This morning when I checked my email there was an email from Walmart.com saying thank you for your recent purchase, along with a zip attachment.  My first instinct was that my credit card number got stolen since I have never shopped at Walmart.com (why would I shop there since I work for Target ).  Then I almost opened the zip file but decided against it thinking something is up.  I called the 800 number for Walmart.com and talked to a customer service representative and she informed me that there was a recent scam that involved the Walmart.com name.  Just keep your eyes open and if you received any email from Walmart.com congratulating you on your recent purchase and you haven't done so give them a call to confirm the email.  Most likely that zip file contains a virus or worm.

i would definitely be suspicious of any attachment from anyone, even if it seemed legitimate.  especially a .zip file.
