Customs map downloads for Mondays

Hey all, had a question posed to me last night during our custom map rotation. I guess the TK clan have allot of members in Australia and they were wondering if we have a place our custom map list can be downloaded.

A few had to leave last night because they could only get 54k download and didn't want to wait. TK/Menace brought this up to me as he and his squad love to play on the server, but the wait time on the new map download is to long for some of their crew.

If there is any way we could help them out that would be great.

the maps are on this server (jhfgames.com) so it's whatever speed that they can get it...most of the maps are standard/unchanged from the originals, however, i wouldn't advise getting them from anywhere else, just in case.

thanks Smoke, the only maps i see are under COD2, are they embedded in here somewhere?

I think what Neo is asking is if they can "pre" download the maps from our website so they don't have to during game.  We used to have mappacks for download during the MoHAA and early COD days.

Anything that can be downloaded in game can be pre-downloaded here - this is the same directory the game pulls the files from:

http://www.jhfgames.com/downloads/extremecod4/

Even if you just get what is in the usermaps folder... thats the majority of the information you'd have to download to connect.

thanks for clearing up my request OBMer and yes JimmyT that was the info i was looking for. If menace does not see this tread i will let him know how his squad can download the maps.

just make sure they put the files in the appropriate folders.
