Connection Issue

I am struggling to connect to the server.  I am getting to the Setting Up Game Screen, it will hold there for about 30 seconds then it will show the loading map screen, but the loading bar is not changing.  Any ideas?  I have already reset the modem and router and restarted my rig.

Does the console say anything of note?  Do others in game see a reason you aren't connecting or being kicked or something?  Do you have your internet plugged in?  (j/k ).  Have you been able to connect to any (gasp!) other servers?

Finally was able to connect, but it was slow going.  Seems like gremlins were affecting my internet.

I keep getting the message This server is for low ping players only.  I have to close out the game two or three times before it finally connects for me to play.  Looks like my internet is as bad as Sox's....

I had some issues with my connection yesterday afternoon/evening while in game.   I'd get the "Connection Interrupted" message while proceeding to do the dance o death.  Happened a couple of times.  I saw Sox logging on with the -1 ping, but there was no message.  Maybe it was just a bad day at the host.

I do not like my wireless internet.  I am hardwired inside my house with Gig Ethernet via Gig router.  But the only internet that is available is wireless internet from my ISP. No DSL, no cable.  Very different from Dallas were I used to live.  I have the infamous connection interruped frequently.  Nothing I can do about it.
