We have moved our BC2 server to a new IP/machine.  Same provider, same location, so you should get the same ping.  If you have not already, you can search for =JHF= in the server browser.  Our new current server is:

=JHF= Just Having Fun (new)

Our old server is now named =JHF= Just Having Fun Old Server.  Please note that the =JHF= Just Have Fun server is not affiliated with our group.

The new server seemed to fill up better tonight than the old server did in the past.  We took it from 2 to 32 in about 4 rotations.  Grin

Is the old server going to stay around for any length of time?  If so, any chance we could change the game mode to Rush?

Excellent idea Astro!! Wink  It would be nice for a change of pace, especially since we can't run alternating
modes on the new server right now.

The old server is being paid for by a private individual and I believe will be cancelled any day now.  It would currently be rather unpleasant to play on as it has constant spam in order to advertise that our new one exists.  If we want to play rush the =JHF= server can be converted between gametypes in minutes.

But once the gametype is changed doesn't the server need to be reset booting everyone?

This is the way it was originally but tonight I'm going to look into the issue again - we've had a number of patches etc since we started.  I'd love to see the ability to have conquest/rush maps alternating in our rotation - but we shall see if that is possible.  Still, if we want to play rush or something its easy to change - you are correct though in that it requires (or at least did) a server restart.
