heh. we could be neighbors! called the warranty company tonight...they said it would probably be friday before someone can come out. if that's the case, they better be able to fix it the same day or i'm gonna be hosed.

No. I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande.

I'm currently watching Craigslist for a portable a/c.  It will keep my "shed" cool most times but a great backup for the bedroom if the central unit keels over.

One advantage to Colorado.  Don't need to use the AC most of the time, but might have to today since it will get up to 96.  As for you Uncle Paul look on the bright side; your energy bill will be less this month.

It is normally pleasant here in Oregon too, at least until the monsoon comes (Nov-Apr).  Though I have my AC on today... but then again, I am fat and do not dissipate heat well  Tongue

I grew up in Littleton, and now live in Fort Collins, with hopes to move back to the south side of Denver in the next few months.

just checking in to say hi from the hotel lol. having bc2 withdrawals. they need to make this dumb game on the mac so i can play on the go. =) it turns out our compressor died...and it's gonna take a couple days for the warranty company and the contractor to connect and get it replaced. if they don't get it fixed by saturday, that's gonna suck. it's gonna be 102 both days this weekend and I'd rather not stay in a hotel for more than a couple nights lol

in the meantime, someone else is gonna have to take my place at the bottom of the scoreboard for a couple days.

doubt it. it's within their service level agreement....just really bad timing due to the weather and the weekend.

Southern California has the best weather year around. Tomorrow I will be looking forward to low 80s sipping my kool aid as I barbeque through weekend!
