Black Ops?

Hey, guys...

Haven't been around in a while. Have checked the server status (Black Ops) several times and found it usually to be empty.

1) Are you guys still playing Black Ops?
2) My console can't seem to get me there. From the main multi-player screen, I bring up the console via the "~" key, type connect 173.199.101.28:3074 and it just doesn't go. Shift ~ brings up some sort of console history that tells me it couldn't connect and that I should check the server and port again.

Appreciate any info.

HI JOE!   

1.  We cancelled our Blops server back in February or something.  We were not playing it much at all and frankly, the game was a disappointment.  These are not the Cod games we used to play. 
2.  I don't think you could ever connect with the console, but maybe that was patched in.  When we had a server I used to have to connect via my favourite servers list or find it in the main server list.

Some of the guys are playing RIFT right now, I'm not much of an MMO guy due to the time dedication it takes...   we are looking at Red Orchestra (Back to WWII!) or maybe BF3 in the fall if RO doesn't pan out.

i'm a part time mmo'er if that helps and well, rift is passing the time at the moment.  I  will give red orchestra a try, but looking at the bf3 vids, im hooked.

it's pretty fun.  just the few of us running dungeons for now, and like i've said earlier, it's passing the time.  have you tried it out?
