I know most of you already know this, but I thought I'd post it anyway. Looks like we'll get some time to play this one before
BF3 comes out. HOS August 30th.

Well I find the amount of whining I have read about the first RO being hard to master a good sign. We aren't playing BLOPS right now because COD is always the same, and going downhill as each new
money grab
title is released. If this is a game I find difficult and have to actually use my head a little bit in - well, thats a good thing. Less "easy button" please!

I agree with you Jt, I'd like a game that makes you think and takes atleast some skill.
Hopefully they haven't dumbed it down to grab some COD players.

Hopefully not but I haven't seen an indication of that yet from the stuff I've read. I remember how it used to be in CODUO - you had to actually aim accurately and there wasn't as much nonsense like flopping to the ground to throw off the hitboxes etc. I have been thinking of installing UO again and finding a server, or even playing SP to get a handle on actually aiming once again. That and I have been thinking lately it would be great to bonk someone with a tank again.

I might have had the same thought JT, though not sure I want to give up widescreen . . . .

I went max resolution windowed mode and didn't notice it after I started playing. Its still a great game - and even though I was playing a map I used to dislike, it seemed awesome compared to some of the maps we've played in the last few games...
