I played the demo today and Dang! that was fun. Warhammer 40K in first person! I bought the game. Steam is the bomb, I hate it. Makes buying games way too easy.

I looked at that game, it looked pretty interesting. How is the online part?
I don't like steam though, i used it for Rift I've learned from that. Unless i have to
have it for the game I'll get it somewhere else.

It sounds like Steam would be pleased from your description of it Warrior.

Havent played online yet, still getting a feel for controls, which isnt too difficult. The game is pretty dang fun. It's just run and kill orks! No inventory managment other than picking up ammo. And it is true to what we see Warhammer 40K is today. Way fun.

So I jumped into multiplayer and it is blatently unfair and difficult. You start out as a level 1 and you level your toon up by killing other players. However, you are playing with level 23's that are so highly overpowered that you dont last more than a minute when engage in combat. there should be some type of level cap on the servers to give people a shooting chance.

Update: multiplayer is fun. you level up fairly quickly and once you get the hang of special moves, you can take out higher loevel toons, if you are quick and lucky. Once you hit level 4, customization opens up, one of the things warhammer has been famous for. 2 game modes, annihilation and capture bases ala bad company. i am enjoying it.
