So this might be of interest to those of us with BF3.  In both the SP and MP you can turn on the FPS indicator in much the same way as previous games.

1.  Hit the ~ key to pull up the console
2.  type:         render.drawfps 1

Voila.  Thing I notice though is that this appears to not be saved so when you restart BF3 you have to type this in again.  Anyone had this persist between sessions?

i haven't tried it, im using another program to do that, evga precision.  monitors fps, time, gpu temp. its pretty good actually.
