any ATI 9500 or 9600 and above is good.  prices start around 100 +, stick with the ATI brand cards.. if you want nvidia, same price, maybe a geforce 6600 or above, might be a little pricier.  also gigabyte, MSI, are good brands for nvidia ones.  They all have 256 mb memory on them.

I was thinking about getting this one:

ATI RADEON X700 PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card

Any thoughts, opinions or first-hand knowledge/experience?Huh?

ATI RADEON X700 PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card
I don't think a PCI Express card will fit in your AGP slot! Make sure you have a compatible motherboard.

Rock\OneEye/Hard Place

Anybody know of a good PCI vid card Huh  Seems even AGP would be better than PCI.  I've looked around a little and can't seem to find any that are very good.  Granted, anything is better than the 64mb integrated i have now, but i'm not gonna drop a bunch of $$$ for very little performance increase.  Cry

I have an ATI 9250 PCI as my secondary card to run my second monitor.  It runs CoD just dandy (as well as my old GForce FX 5200 did). and i think it cost around $50 - $60 bucks for the 128MB version.  Just keep in mind with things like integrated and PCI graphics, that you are bumping against a certain (llow) limit.  Once your there it don't get any better.
