I have been playing Medal of Honor Pacific assault for about 3 days now.
It is all of MOH and COD rolled into one.
Your a private in the USMC, you start as the landing craft are moving in on Tarawa.
After being wounded...
You flash back to Boot Camp, and then it really starts.
There are hidden parts of the mission you have to figure out to get full credit for that mission.
Even in boot camp, like firing on the rifle range. You have to hit at least 100 percent of the target to be awarded all the marksmanship medals.
One note of Marine Corps history error in the game is the Boots call the DI (drill sergent which is an army term)
Also the medal are in reverse order. Surprising mistake concidering that Capt. Dale Dye (ret. USMC) was the Military advisor.
Takes some getting use to the new control lay out.
But it is a blast
I've only played on easy level so far. And it is very forgiving, so you don't die easily.
Does have some lanugage that would need to cleaned up before use on our server...
But i have spent some enjoyable time with it so far...
