I remember it like it was yesterday, my mom actually flew out of New York hrs earlier.  I was going to school in New Jersey and people at my school actually had family at the towers.  I got to visit the sites a year or so later, while they were still cleaning up and it was very sombering.  Its hard to see how people can protest the war when there are still people out there that are capable of such attrocities.

It seems to be easy for people to put things like that day out of thier mind when they are not reminded of it.Other then the past couple days maybe you heard of it a few times in the media but thats it. I think some one out there dosent want to incite any stronger feelings or get the people going.

I dont want to take away from this threads ultimate meaning's by getting potlitcal.So yes prayers and deep reflection for all that  modern day day of infamy has touched,both those in and around the towers,pentagon,and the flight #93.   Cry

speaking of flight 93, anyone watch the special on Discovery Channel called The Flight that fought back? It basically recreated the whole flight by using real audio clips and phone calls/voicemails. Kinda creepy, but it was done well.

i watched it...it was wierd how many of the passengers werent supposed to be on that flight..but wound up there by (fate?)
