I'm having bad internet day...Things are terribly slow...

http://www.navysealteams.com/hathcock.htm... story of one of the Marine Corps best...93 confirmed kills during his tours in Viet Nam
http://www.mastercollector.com/neat/gijoe/hasbro/sniper.html... would look good on my desk
http://userpages.aug.com/captbarb/sniper.html... First american woman sniper
http://www.mfr.usmc.mil/Archive/2005.01/sniperkill.html... this is the article about Sgt. Hancock and the longest confirmed shot in the Iraq war... Like R Lee. Said in the movie Full metal jacket...just an example of what a well motived Marine can do with a rifle...

What is funny to me... is that i can hit a target 500 yards away... have hit a running target with a .357 mag. from 75 yards away...I won't hunt deer with a rifle...not sporting enough...i use Bow and Arrow...have to get close...
But I can't hit Hoffa at all.....lol  Grin

First off, I just spent the last two years of my life going to college in Bryan, Texas.  Secondly, that sucks that you werent allowed to join, ever since I read Marine Sniper by Charles Henderson, Ive been hooked.  He wrote about Carlos Hathcock, a marine sniper in Vietnam, who at the time was considered the most leathal sniper.  He too held the longest kill.  If anyone is up for a good read pick up one of Hendersons books, youll be awestruck at some of the things this guy did.

US

If you happen to stop by the Bryan P.D. Tell them if they write to Sgt. Hancock tell him.
This is one Marine and retired Police Officer that honors him for his service...
