Rules for forum posts/conduct

1. All posters (including those posting without accounts) must be at least 13 years of age. No exceptions.
2. The rules for language on the game servers apply to messages on this forum :

a) Please keep your language clean, this includes abbreviating or spacing the letters.
b) Don't rudely taunt or argue with anyone. This place is here to have fun and make friends. Keep it fun and don't call people names.
c) No spamming. Advertisements or back to back posts will likely be deleted.
d) Political and religious forum posts should be avoided - they aren't JHF related. These issues tend to lead to ugly arguments, and we are about having fun.

3. Posting non "g-rated" material should at the very least come with a message warning that the content of the link is not appropriate for everyone and may contain bad language. If you are not sure the language/content is appropriate for all, give people a suitable warning first.

4.Please use the search feature to see if your question/topic has been covered before. Reactivating an older thread is always better than creating a new one with an identical or similar topic. A duplicate threads created on the same page may be locked or merged.

5. Graphics in posts and signatures

a) Graphics in the "signature" part of your posts should be a maximum of 1000 x 200 pixels. More than one graphic is fine, as long as they do not take up more room than 680 x 110 pixels of space in total.

This will help prevent our forum becoming one of those where it is hard to find the posts for the forest of signature graphics and where a one line post takes up an entire page.

b) Images in posts should also never be wider than 900 pixels wide so the page does not get distorted. Basically, the rule of thumb is to keep your graphics as small as possible... but large enough so people can see them.

c) Please refrain from including already posted images in your quotation of another post.

d) Images posted to the =JHF= Forum should not contain language or subject matter that would not be appropriate in text form. Images containing swearing, bigotry, politically charged messages, or promoting hatred etc. should not be posted. If you have any questions about the nature of an image you wish to post, please confirm that it is okay with =JHF= JimmyT first.
